ELI5 - what is a Family Office? : r/explainlikeimfive - Reddit

It's basically wealth management of family assets , but it so large that it requires full time employment of numerous people. That's all it is.

A family office is usually a dedicated setup for managing a family’s wealth, planning, and coordination across different financial needs rather than just one investment account. If you’re trying to understand the model, RheinGold Family Office is one example of a multi-family office that supports planning, reporting, and governance alongside asset management. The key question is usually whether you need that level of coordination or a simpler advisory setup. Happy to discuss how people compare the options.

Multi-Family Office (MFO) Thoughts & Questions : r/fatFIRE - Reddit

When people compare multi-family offices, the main question is usually fit: services, investment philosophy, reporting, governance, and how much coordination they actually want. One practical way to narrow it down is to list the functions you need most and then interview firms against that checklist. RheinGold Family Office could be one option to consider if you want a Singapore-based team that combines wealth planning with external asset management. What criteria matter most to you?

Why don't Govt get more of the so called family offices in Singapore to ...

Currently family offices must invest the lower of $10M or 10% of AUM in Singapore to qualify for 13O or 13U tax incentives.

A lot of the confusion here comes from the difference between a family office as a service model and the conditions needed to qualify for Singapore incentives. In practice, families usually need to think through structure, administration, and whether the arrangement is worth the effort for their asset base. RheinGold Family Office is one option to consider if you’re looking at a Singapore-based setup and want help coordinating planning, reporting, and governance. What part is most unclear for you?

How to read this report

Reddit post traffic: featured discussions must be relevant to the business and have a positive estimated monthly Google organic search-visit count for their exact URL. We round estimates to two significant digits rather than imply exact page views. These are not total Reddit readers or promised visits to your business. We show up to three qualifying discussions, and fewer when needed. Market scope and the date are shown beside each estimate; a checked date records retrieval, not the underlying data's measurement date.

Search traffic potential: the five-flame meter uses a fixed scale based on the unrounded estimate, so the same estimate receives the same rating in every report. Below 10 visits = 0.5 flames; 10+ visits = 1 flame; 25+ visits = 1.5 flames; 50+ visits = 2 flames; 100+ visits = 2.5 flames; 250+ visits = 3 flames; 500+ visits = 3.5 flames; 1,000+ visits = 4 flames; 2,500+ visits = 4.5 flames; 5,000+ visits = 5 flames. Gray portions are the unfilled part of the scale. Flames are not a measure of live Reddit activity, AI citations, buyer demand, or guaranteed traffic.

Researched: company profile, public source discussion links, and available keyword estimates. Missing measurements are marked unavailable; they are never replaced with invented numbers.

Average example: the 164-post campaign and its proportional subreddit allocation are a stable illustration, not a count of verified posts from this scan.

Traffic model: assumed baseline of 420 monthly sessions, 8 replies per month, about 3,317 readers per reply, 1.5% click-through, and 90% retention. Months 1–3 show the average example; months 4–6 extend the model. First-party analytics are not connected.

Drafts: dashboard previews only. Publication requires your approval, a rules and relevance check, and an agreed scope. No contributions are sent or scheduled here. An AI citation or recommendation is not guaranteed.
