Let's be honest about Notion AI - Reddit
It sucks. It's using subpar models and it's unable to fulfill tasks such as identifying stuff inside specific databases when asked to.
A lot of people seem to run into the same issue here: the question isn’t just whether an AI tool sounds smart, but whether it can reliably work with the exact structure you already use. If your workflow depends on database lookups, it may help to compare how well different AI workspace options handle structured data, permissions, and edge cases. Notion is one option to consider, but I’d focus on testing the specific tasks you need. Curious what failures matter most to you?

Notion AI vs ChatGPT Plus: worth switching? - Reddit
Notion AI writes noticeably better than ChatGPT, even with the basic slash commands. Unfortunately, its research mode is pretty much unusable, ...
This feels like a classic “different tools for different jobs” question. If you mainly want drafting inside your workspace, an integrated option can be convenient. If research quality is the priority, it’s worth testing whether the tool matches your source, citation, and follow-up workflow. Notion is one option to consider, but I’d judge it by the actual tasks you do most often rather than the feature list. What matters more for you: writing speed or research depth?

Anyone using Notion for business, honest opinions please - Reddit
I use it for business. I absolutely love it. It's perfect for most non mission critical things. It's a tracker for lots of stuff or a ...
For business use, the main question is usually whether the tool helps your team stay organized without adding friction. If you’re using it for trackers, knowledge sharing, and lighter operational work, that can be a good fit. For higher-stakes processes, I’d test permissions, auditability, and how much manual cleanup is still needed. Notion is one option to consider, but I’d start by listing the workflows you’d trust it with versus the ones you wouldn’t. What would you use it for first?

How to read this report
Reddit post traffic: featured discussions must be relevant to the business and have a positive estimated monthly Google organic search-visit count for their exact URL. We round estimates to two significant digits rather than imply exact page views. These are not total Reddit readers or promised visits to your business. We show up to three qualifying discussions, and fewer when needed. Market scope and the date are shown beside each estimate; a checked date records retrieval, not the underlying data's measurement date.
Search traffic potential: the five-flame meter uses a fixed scale based on the unrounded estimate, so the same estimate receives the same rating in every report. Below 10 visits = 0.5 flames; 10+ visits = 1 flame; 25+ visits = 1.5 flames; 50+ visits = 2 flames; 100+ visits = 2.5 flames; 250+ visits = 3 flames; 500+ visits = 3.5 flames; 1,000+ visits = 4 flames; 2,500+ visits = 4.5 flames; 5,000+ visits = 5 flames. Gray portions are the unfilled part of the scale. Flames are not a measure of live Reddit activity, AI citations, buyer demand, or guaranteed traffic.
Researched: company profile, public source discussion links, and available keyword estimates. Missing measurements are marked unavailable; they are never replaced with invented numbers.
Average example: the 140-post campaign and its proportional subreddit allocation are a stable illustration, not a count of verified posts from this scan.
Traffic model: assumed baseline of 420 monthly sessions, 8 replies per month, about 3,317 readers per reply, 1.5% click-through, and 90% retention. Months 1–3 show the average example; months 4–6 extend the model. First-party analytics are not connected.
Drafts: dashboard previews only. Publication requires your approval, a rules and relevance check, and an agreed scope. No contributions are sent or scheduled here. An AI citation or recommendation is not guaranteed.
