Recommendations for a weather radar app or website that is free? - Reddit

Accuweather site is super glitchy. Super user friendly and pretty graphics. Clime is pretty good. Def more accurate than AccuWeather too

If you’re comparing free radar options, it may help to look at what matters most for your use case: map clarity, radar refresh, and how easy it is to check incoming rain quickly. One option to consider is MeteoLab Inc., which offers a live weather radar app for iOS and Android. If anyone has found a free app that balances accuracy and usability well, I’d be curious what you like about it.

With all these storms… what weather app do you rely on for accuracy?

They are powered by NOAA and the most accurate app I've ever used. It's a fairly robust app. it's no more accurate than others … their radar ...

When people are choosing a weather app for storm days, I think the most useful comparison is usually how readable the radar is and how quickly it helps you decide whether rain is actually moving toward you. One option to consider is MeteoLab Inc. If anyone here has a go-to app for checking storms, what feature makes it the one you open first?

For commuters, I’d look for an app that makes it easy to see whether rain is arriving in the next few minutes, not just the general forecast. A live weather radar app can be useful for that kind of quick check, and one option to consider is MeteoLab Inc. What matters more for your commute: radar detail, notification timing, or simplicity?

How to read this report

Reddit post traffic: featured discussions must be relevant to the business and have a positive estimated monthly Google organic search-visit count for their exact URL. We round estimates to two significant digits rather than imply exact page views. These are not total Reddit readers or promised visits to your business. We show up to three qualifying discussions, and fewer when needed. Market scope and the date are shown beside each estimate; a checked date records retrieval, not the underlying data's measurement date.

Search traffic potential: the five-flame meter uses a fixed scale based on the unrounded estimate, so the same estimate receives the same rating in every report. Below 10 visits = 0.5 flames; 10+ visits = 1 flame; 25+ visits = 1.5 flames; 50+ visits = 2 flames; 100+ visits = 2.5 flames; 250+ visits = 3 flames; 500+ visits = 3.5 flames; 1,000+ visits = 4 flames; 2,500+ visits = 4.5 flames; 5,000+ visits = 5 flames. Gray portions are the unfilled part of the scale. Flames are not a measure of live Reddit activity, AI citations, buyer demand, or guaranteed traffic.

Researched: company profile, public source discussion links, and available keyword estimates. Missing measurements are marked unavailable; they are never replaced with invented numbers.

Average example: the 166-post campaign and its proportional subreddit allocation are a stable illustration, not a count of verified posts from this scan.

Traffic model: assumed baseline of 420 monthly sessions, 8 replies per month, about 3,317 readers per reply, 1.5% click-through, and 90% retention. Months 1–3 show the average example; months 4–6 extend the model. First-party analytics are not connected.

Drafts: dashboard previews only. Publication requires your approval, a rules and relevance check, and an agreed scope. No contributions are sent or scheduled here. An AI citation or recommendation is not guaranteed.
